Integrating Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Tools into the Classroom

Workshop description

Twine is a free, open source tool that can be used for creating choose-your-own-adventure stories and games. From using it to teach the basics of coding to storytelling strategies, Twine offers a diverse range of applications for education. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of Twine and some advanced features if time permits.

Getting started

If you are interested in getting some Twine experience beforehand, you can check out either of the following two Twine tutorials. We will cover all of this during the workshop as well and will provide worked examples and sample lesson plans.
