Black Youth Programs

The Black Youth in STEM program is designed to break down barriers to Black youth engagement in STEM fields. Black Youth in STEM engages Black youth in culturally relevant STEM experiences that build skills and confidence.

In the winter of 2024, we will be delivering two programs for Black youth in Surrey, BC:

  • The second program will be Games for Change, for high school aged youth (grades 8-12) of mixed genders, delivered with the support of Kucheli Foundation. The program will run from February 24th to March 16th from 11am to 2pm.

    • If you are interested in registering your child/ yourself for either of these programs, please email fascoord@sfu.ca
