join us for 3 coding workshops and a chance to talk to a Cybersecurity expert!

Saturday, November 28:

  • From 9:30AM to 11:30AM, join us for our basic Intro to Python workshop (you'll need to know the basics before you can join us for the next two workshops)

  • From 12PM to 2PM, learn all about why there are so many rules to picking a password in our Password Cracker workshop

  • From 2:30PM to 4:30PM, finish the day with our Encryption/Decryption workshop and learn how to scramble and unscramble text

Monday, November 30 (actual Computer Security Day):

  • From 4PM to 5PM, hear from our very own Alyssa Rusk, longtime Science AL!VE instructor and current SFU Master of Cybersecurity student, to learn all about her experience in computing science and cybersecurity. You'll also be able to ask her any burning questions you might have!


Students that attend at least 2/4 sessions will receive a certificate!

Open to students in grades 8-12.
