App Dev Summer Program
About the Program
The App Dev Summer Program features fun, engaging workshops on mobile app development using Thunkable, which is a drag-and-drop app builder. In this week-long program, Grade 4-7 coders will plan and prototype their app designs, learn basic coding concepts, code a mobile app, and present and demo their projects on the final day!

Past Program Schedule
The App Dev Summer Program has been running since 2020. We started running the program online from 2020-2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic and transitioned to an in-person format in 2022-2023. This year marks the fifth year of the App Dev Summer Program!

Things to know before registering
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Program Rules & Policies, as well as our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
If the participant requires assistance and accommodation, please complete the Participant Support Information Form at least three weeks before the program’s start date.
An information package containing important program details will be shared with you at least one week before the program’s start date. Please ensure you review this package thoroughly.

Faculty of Applied Sciences Outreach Bursary Program
We are committed to making our programs accessible to all youth by offering bursaries to those who demonstrate financial need. To be considered, please fill out the bursary form below. Please do not register for the program before submitting a bursary application. The last day to submit a bursary application is Sunday, June 16 at 11:59 pm PT.
